Getting into Nepal

Nepal Airlines is the only one national flag carrier of Nepal with the flight connection to Hong Kong and Shanghai in China, Singapore, and Kuala- Lumpur in Malaysia and Bangkok in Thailand, Osaka in Japan, Dubai in UAE, Qatar and Delhi and Mumbai.  

By Land

Well- known Nepal is landlocked country, situated between China and India, getting into Nepal by land requires you to take permit through China or India. Nepal has China in the north and India in the east- west and south. There are seven entry points to Nepal via India which are as follow:

Sunauli/ Belahiya (Bhairahawa)

Raxal (Birgunj)

Pani Tanki (Kakarbhitta)

Mohana (Dhangadhi)

Jogbani (Biratnagar)

Rupaidiya (Nepalgunj)

Banbasa/ Gaddachauki (Mahendranagar)

Nepal and China has fixed to open additional seven entrance points after India enacted undeclared border blocked to Nepal. The seven entrance border are Olangchungola (Tiptala pass), Mustang (Korala), Lamabagar (Lapchi), Kimathanka (Lengdup), Mugu (Nagcha), Gorkha Larke (Lajyang pass) and Humla (Hilsa). Beside these seven border, Kodari- Khasa has been in procedure since 1968 for the operation of trade and commerce. But it is closed after the massive earthquake and Bhotekoshi flooded in Nepal. The second trade border is the Rasuwagadhi, Kerung, which has come to use now.
