Panch Pokhari Short Trekking is one of the best excursion destinations to observe the distinctive culture and traditions as well as views of the mountain series in Nepal Himalaya. Most of the people you see on the way to Panch Pokhari are Natives; you can merely see some tourists. Panch Pokari (Five holy Lake) is named Panch Pokhari because there are a total of five divine lakes in the Sindhupalchok district of Nepal. Panch Pokhari short Trekking takes you to see the 9th highest altitude wetland in the world. It is situated around an elevation of 4100m above sea level. These lakes are an especially popular destination during Janai Purnima in the month of August among Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. It is believed that if you make a wish with a pure intention then your wish will be fulfilled. This place has both religious and cultural importance. Panch Pokhari's short Trekking provides an enormous chance to grasp the Ariel Himalayan landscape, flora, and fauna like trees of juniper, pine, rhododendron, and animals of Blue Sheep, wild boar, Monjack. There is also found Yarsagumba “CORDYCEPS”, it is half plant and insect which is rare species in the world. These are the major objects of the Panch Pokhari short Trekking.
There are two Trekking routes to reach Panch Pokhari, one starts from Sano Okhareni via Chautara is the headquarter of Sindhupalchowk and one starts from Bhotang village via Melamchi. The route is considered to be an easier and shorter path to reach Panch Pokhari. Your journey to Panch Pokhari will begin after taking about 6 to 7 hours of bus or Jeep ride from Kathmandu to Bhotang. On the way, you pass by various villages of Tamang and other communities like Tipeni Bazaar, Dhap, Raithane, and Manekharka before arriving at Bhotang village. You will spend your first night there, meeting new people and getting to know their culture and lifestyle as well. After getting a night of good sleep you will start your trek early the next morning. You will get to experience a different culture in every new village. On this trek, you will know more about cultures in Nepal so it is also known as Nepal cultural trek. This trek is not only rich in cultural education but also in natural sceneries. You will climb many hills, cross various rivers, and see new creatures. You will get to grasp the amazing landscape is Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Phurbochyachu, and more. That’s not all your eyes will meet with many strangers but their smiles will be familiar. Then after the long walks, of going up and up you will reach Nasimpati, where you will spend your second night. There is the weather that will start to become a little chilly starting from here, especially during the nights. The next morning also wakes up early, freshens up, and starts walking. There are some steep hills on the way which you’ll need to climb with cautions because it will be raining sometime so the grounds will be slippery.
After Nasimpati you will start to see a completely different surrounding. You will have paths filled with rocks, from stairs to ground, there are rocks all over. You’ll also have to climb many stairs but the last stair that’ll lead you to Panch Pokhari is the most famous one. It is named “Lauri Bina” which means “without a stick”, if you use the stick for your support on the way to getting there then you will have to leave it at the end of these stairs. After a few minutes of walk, you will now reach Panch Pokhari. From there everything will start feeling surreal. You will start to think, “How can such places, so close to heaven exist?” You will see the first three lakes and the other two are a little apart. You will spend your night here. The spiritual environment will definitely give you a very peaceful night of sleep. Then on the next day, you can worship at the temple and take a tour of the five holy lakes. The views you will see that day will be really unforgettable for you. The scenes of the five pond surrounded by green hills filled with different types of flowers are absolutely picturesque. You will never be able to erase that picture from your memory. Now you will be trekking back the same route. We will make sure that you don’t miss out on anything during this trip, providing you with details of every place and the history behind it. We will try and make your trip as better as possible.
